World Cup 2026: Lionel Messi breaks his silence after Argentina’s defeat in the final against Spain
“The pain is very great and it will take time for this injury to heal. But I also keep all the good things…
The matches we won by giving everything and that will remain forever in our memories, the support of an entire country that, with the work and efforts of this group, brought us back once again among the best in the world.

Today, it is difficult to appreciate what we have done, but this group has reached two consecutive World Cup finals.
Thank you very much, from the bottom of my heart, for every message and every testimony of support. Once again, we managed to unite as a country and to be all together, sharing the immense pride of being Argentinians.
I also want to congratulate Spain for its title.
