Former Hearts of Oak and Black Stars captain Nicholas Adolf Armah aka ‘Danster’ paid a special visit to the Black Stars camp and watched them play in the United States of America.

Armah, a former midfield dynamo , was a key member of Ghana’s squad that won the 1978 Africa Cup of Nations and remains one of the country’s celebrated football legends. He captained the team in 1979 and was reigning in 1980 to 82 when he left Ghana to play professional football outside.

In 1979, he was named as the second-best African Footballer of the Year with Cameroonian player Thomas N’ kono beating him in the ultimate. During his playing days, he was given the nickname #Rolandanster due to his midfield prowess and his ability to control the midfield during a match. He later played for other clubs in Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, Gabon, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
