Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo has joined the list of Superior Player of the Match winners at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Semenyo, who is in high contention for the Africa Footballer of the year played an instrumental role in the Black Stars slim win over Panama in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday.

The Manchester City forward is a treat for many defenders and though he was heavily marked, he initiated the move that created the goal.

Semenyo and his dear one enjoyed the victories after the match at the stadium.
Ghana has three points and will clash with England in the next game.
A couple of Ghanaians play in England like Semenyo himself, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Jordan Ayew and Fatau Issahaku.

It will be a football battle. It is the World Cup, the biggest stage of football. Go Ghana.
Some Africans who have won the MVP are Côte d’Ivoire’s Yan Diomande, Cabo Verde’s Vozinha, Egypt’s Emam Ashour and Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo.
