Didi Shito consumers mount pressure on ‘Gas Man’

Emmanuel Olla Williams aka ‘The Gas Man’ founder and CEO of One on One Foundation and the Secondary School Sanitation programme has come under pressure to organise more Longest Table events with the latest product on the market which can be eaten with different kinds of food.

Didi Shito can be consumed with gari, rice, waakye and others but it is freaky if is is at a party or the consumers are many.

Didi Shito” with “The Gas Man” refers to an event hosted by Olla Williams which is going viral among tertiary institutions, Senior High Schools and the communities.

The programme featuring the “Longest Table” gathering at Senior High Schools to celebrate SRC weeks and other events.

This event promotes the Didi Shito, a popular Ghanaian black pepper sauce made from dried fish, crustaceans, and spices.

It is an occasion for unity, love and peace, but above all creating business opportunities.

Shito is a staple, hot condiment in Ghana, often served with kenkey, rice, yam, plantain or banku, but eating together is what makes the difference and makes the Gas Man stand out.

According to Emmanuel Olla Williams, an events organiser, with Dreamland Sports he got the name Gas Man from the students he has been working with over the years and it simply means Ghana Ambassador of Sports.

He doubles as President of Ghana Tug of War Association as well as Pillow Fighting Championships in Ghana.

He is hoping to bring more programmes to solve the boredom of the youth and make elderly people happy through sports and recreation.

The former youth coordinator of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) said Ghanaians must keep on to be creative and use made in Ghana products.

“The Ghana month of March has been celebrated very well, but the Black Stars have not made our celebrations complete, we play that they do well at the 2026 FIFA World Cup so that we can celebrate more with Didi Shito” he expressed.
