Nii Tetteh Addy Obaklante II, Okaishie Mantse has called for peaceful, unity and development as this year’s Homowo Festival has been celebrated very well.
Speaking during the sprinkling of Kpoikpoi, he said peace is needed for positive development and noted that the cultures and traditions must be respected.
He noted that President John Dramani Mahama has also been able to bring about peace and development due to his experience in politics.
Nii Okaishie appealed to his people to demonstrate love and unity so the development projects can be done in peace.
He congratulated and commended President Mahama and his government for their work done within eight months.
According to him, President John Dramani Mahama went through the political mill by passing through different positions including Member of Parliament, Vice President and now President like how he also became an Asafoatse and now mantse.

He said experience and loyalty are very important and hoped Ghanaians will support the President to succeed, likewise the people of Okaishie will also live in peace to attract development.
He noted that Ghanaians love sports, notably boxing and football, as the passion of the nation, and called for unity through sports like football, as the Black Stars journey to another World Cup to be hosted in USA, Mexico and Canada.
