The GOC President, Richard Akpokavie Esq.has advised the Judo fraternity to respect the new executives. He said the athletes are the most important people in sports and everything must be done to make them happy, train well to be able to produce results.
He called for more female participants in Judo as it is a sport for self defence and fame gaining well

Mr Kenneth Arthur the President of Ghana Judo has called for unity and progress as well as new path to bring laurels to the nation.
He appealed for corporate support and the media to promote their activities and profiling athletes, coaches, clubs and executives.
He thanked the Ghana Olympic Committee for supervision of the transparent elections and the National Sports Authority for the support and encouragement.

The elections took place at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday 28 June 2025.
Mr. Kwabena Asamoah former Vice President commended the new executives and wished them success.
