The World Boxing Council (WBC) and African Boxing Union (ABU) are staging an amateur tournament hosted by Yucateco Boxing Promotions in Nigeria.
The event has been interesting and exciting as it is filled with action with boxers giving their all to make it to the finals on Saturday.
Ghana’s Daniel Awadzie was disqualified against Battle Nuhu of Uganda in bout number 7 of the ongoing WBC/ABU amateur boxing tournament in Lagos, Nigeria and crashes out, leaving 17 year old Gabriel Addo as the sole Ghanaian remaining in hunt for qualification to the WBC Amateur Boxing World Cup in Mexico later this year.
