Ghana’s Winnifred Ntumi has won Team Ghana’s first medal by winning silver in the women’s 46kg snatch in weightlifting, clean and jerk as well as the total score. In all, she got two silver medals and one gold.
Winnifred is one of Ghana medal hopes after claiming the nation’s first ware, a bronze at the last Games in Morocco in 2019.
The Ghana Weightlifting Federation has congratulated the new champion of Africa.
