MobileMoney Fintech Ltd (MMFL) promotes fitness, health and wellness among staff

MTN Ghana’s subsidiary MobileMoney Fintech Ltd (MMFL) has been actively involved in promoting health and wellness through various health walks and digital initiatives.

Last Saturday, April 11, 2026 was another edition of the MoMo Staff Wellness Walk when the MobileMoney Fintech Ltd (MMFL) Ghana team held a two hours health walk from Ayi Mensah to Aburi.

The staff engaged in some stretching, dancing and body workouts in front of the Peduase Lodge after the walk and they interacted in a friendly mood, amidst brassband music and refreshments.

Head of Human Resources, Dzifa Romano Mensah who took part in the health walk expressed that the exercise had been very successful as they helped each other to climb the hills and support themselves to build a unique vibrant hard working family. She revealed that MMFL is planning to roll out other initiatives.

Manager of Communications and Stakeholder Management at MobileMoney Fintech Ltd (MMFL), Afua Serwaa Asafo-Adjei said she had benefited a lot in the walk by sweating and drinking coconut to replenish. She noted that exercising in a group bonds the team and energises them to produce better results. “It has been worth it” she stressed.

Last year, the company  held Health Initiatives & Walks notably  the DOSH Health Insurance Partnership (Dec 2025) when  MTN MoMo partnered with DOSH Health Insurance to launch a digital health insurance product directly on the MoMo App (*915#), offering up to GHS 9,000 annual coverage. This partnership emphasized on preventative health and wellness.

The Asogli Te Za Health Walk (March 2026) was also successful as MTN Ghana participated in the 2025/2026 Asogli Te Za Health Walk in Ho, promoting fitness, unity, and a sanitation drive to keep Ho clean.

The Ark FM Health Walk (April 2025) had MTN Ghana participating in the 9th edition of the Ark FM Health Walk as well as the Breast Cancer Awareness Walks (Oct 2025): MTN Y’ello Ladies Network which hosted breast cancer awareness power walks to promote early detection.
