The MTN FA Cup Committee is adding some value and awareness to the game of football and the prestigious competition by taking the semifinals to Tarkwa, a mining town.
The TNA Stadium is also a new venue that befits the competition which involves all the premier, division one and two clubs.
The programme is also an adventure for the lower tier clubs who have not visited Tarkwa, and it is ideal having their match on a neutral ground as both Attram De Visser and Golden Kick use the Tuba Park in Accra.
Lighting at TNA Stadium cannot support double header, so the GFA and MTN are serving Golden Kicks against Attram De Visser on Saturday 10th May and on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11 present the Berekum Chelsea versus Asante Kotoko.
Meanwhile, a consortium of local FM radio stations has been commissioned by MTN FA Cup Committee to promote the semifinals for record patronage.
Golden Kicks versus Attram De Visser scheduled for Saturday 10th May 4pm kick off will see classic exciting football.
And to boost patronage, Tarkwa SHS will clash with Fiaseman SHS in a curtain raiser from 2pm prompt. Students will stay on to watch the semifinal match.
The duel of the premier sides between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea will also be played from 4pm on May 11.
A Special surprise Mother’s Day Treat is planned to celebrate mothers who will be at the Stadium from 2pm -3pm, during the Happy Hour before the match.
History is going to be made with Ghana’s first Radio Syndicated live commentary GhSportsLive service in English and Akan that will be heard across the nation for fans who will not be at Tarkwa.
Certainly the action at the stadium will also be live on social media notably Facebook, X, Instagram and others.
