Tizza Marathon And Football Competitions From April 16 to 19

This year’s Tizza Marathon is expected to attract higher patronage and create more fitness awareness and excitement.

With about three weeks to the historic football knockouts and marathon competitions from 16th to 18th of April participants are training and preparing.

The event includes a football knockout between the 12 teams and on the 19th of April, is the day for the grand marathon.

The following dignitaries have been invited to grace the occasion, Hon. Charles Lwanga esq Upper West Regional Minister, Mr. Julius Angsomwine, P.E Coordinator Upper West Region, Mr. Abdul Razak Korah, Regional Director of Education, Upper West Region

and Minister of Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, (Special Guest of Honor).

Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah, MP. Jirapa constituency, is a special guest.

The Ambassador for the Tizza marathon is Akakia Atampuri of Ghana Prisons Service.

The planning committee led by ING. Gaspard Dordaa and the technical advisor Dr. Samuel Dery are playing a vital role for a successful competition to be organized. The two events are organized under the auspices of His Royal Higness, Nnaa Bawayele Naayele Dakurah lll,(Tizza Naa).
