Ms. Wendy Naa Deide Sampah CEO of the Wendy Foundation also called for free and fair elections.
She urged people with disability not to get themselves into any kind of trouble and prayed that peace will prevail at the end and democracy will be the winner.
The day is about promoting the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities at every level of society and development, and to raise awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in all aspects of political, social, economic, and cultural life.
This year’s theme – ‘Amplifying the leadership of disabled people for an inclusive and sustainable future’ underscores a critical message – disability inclusion is not just about social justice – it enriches our entire society.
