Malaysia based Ghanaian kickboxer, Gerald Dah’s weighing 70 kg lost to tall Malaysian Super-Am Pro Ammarul Shafiq of Malaysia over the weekend in a tough fight in Selangor.
Speaking to Yours Truly in a telephone conversation, Dah said he and his coach planned well, but their strategies could not work at the last minute and final stages of preparations.
He expressed that things do not go well always at the last minute for him, so he has to check his technical assistance and other related factor.
“In fact I am not happy for the loss, but it is sports and in sports, its either win, lose or draw so we will go back to training and the drawing board to prepare better for a better performance” he said.
