Theophilus Nii Kpakpo Lopez Allotey also known as Theo Lopez has confirmed that he has really transformed after under going an intensive training experience in the British Cayman Islands.
He said the facilities and coaches were excellent and of world class standard.
In October, Allotey and his coach Dr. Ofor Asare. the national team technical director were invited by Palm Heights Athletics (PHA) to discover and train at the sports excellence center, which also serves as a holiday resort.
According to Allotey, who represented Ghana at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Qualifiers in Dakar, Senegal, Thailand and Italy, he feels the transformation from amateur to professional and he has increased his weight, stamina, punch power and more wicked than ever.
“My fans say am too gentle in the ring. this time round they will see the wolf in me and the beast in me” he told Yours Truly in an exclusive interview on Omashi TV.
The young man from Sempe, born at Atukpai, educated at La Presby SHS says he discovered his talent in Boxing at age 7 and joined the Wisdom Boxing Club at age 10.
He expressed that Coach Dr. Ofori Asare has not only been a trainer, but a father and guardian.
His coach admitted that the best is about to come as Allotey is a potential world champion, who has transformed from good to better.
“We have accepted to feature on the Ayitey Powers Promotions bill dubbed ‘Battle of the Beasts’ on November 23 at the Bukom Boxing Arena, i want boxing fans to come and see the new explosive Theo Lopez Allotey” Dr. Asare assured
