WBO Africa Featherweight Champion, John Abaja Laryea aka Expensive Boxer from Ghana who won his debut bout in the USA has expressed gratitude to all his management and fans for the massive support and prayers which inspire him to produce a good show last Friday evening.
“I want to take a moment to thank Samuel Anim Addo (my manager), Peter Kahn, Lawrence Lokko (my coach) my gym mates at Bronx Boxing Club and fans for your unwavering support. Your belief in me has been a driving force throughout this journey. This victory is as much yours as it is mine. I couldn’t have done it without you! Let’s keep pushing forward together” he wrote on his Social Media page on Facebook.
“Its Time To Raise The Flag Of Ghana Very High And Bring Back Our Glory Days Back Home. It’s Time To Get A World Title For Ghana Again” he added.
Laryea defeated Alexander Mejia of Nicaragua by a unanimous points decision in Orlando, Florida/
He is undefeated with 13 wins and one draw.
