Mr. Sammy Anim Addo CEO of the Bronx Boxing Promotions and Manager of WBO Africa Featherweight Champion believes his ward John Laryea will shine in his first fight in the USA on Friday November 1.
Johm Laryea aka Expensive Boxer faces Nicaraguan Alexander Mejia in an international feathweight contest.
Mejia (19-9-0) has lost his last five bouts and Laryea must increase his loses.
According to Anim Addo, the two times WBO Africa champion knows where he is coming from and where he is going.
He described Laryea as an unsung hero that people did not expect to reach his current status.
He stressed that if Laryea wins his first bout, it will open the flood gates for all boxers training at the Bronx Boxing Club at James Town in Accra.
Bronx Boxing Club members and Yours Truly wished John Abaja Laryea success as he left Accra, Ghana for the USA together with Coach Carl Lokko to make his American debut at Caribe Royale, Orlando, Florida.
