Ayitey Powers Promotions To Stage ‘Battle of the Beasts’ between Dickson and Haruna on November 23

Baubali And Soldier Boxer Rematch On The Bill At Bukom Boxing Arena

The Bukom Boxing Arena will be the action spot in Accra, the capital of Ghana once again when Ayitey Powers Promotions stage the ‘Battle of the Beasts’ between former national cruiserweight champion, Jacob Dickson of the Bronx Boxing Gym and current champion, Haruna Mohammed of the Wisdom Boxing Gym on Friday, November 23, 2025.

Both boxers have been bragging and saying many things, now the date has been fixed and the stage has been set.

Interestingly, both boxers are handled by popular coaches and trainers. Dickson is under Coach Carl Lokko while Haruna is trained by national Coach Dr. Ofori Asare.

According to Dickson aka ‘The Beast’, the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) was not fair to him when he was stripped off the title and he wants his belt back.

Haruna Mohammed also feels he is the new man on the block and ready to defend his title.

Ayitey Powers who is establishing himself as a promoter of big bouts has accepted to give them the opportunity and the GBA has approved and sanctioned the bill which also has Ernest Akushey aka ‘Baubali’ against Elvis Ahorgah aka ‘Soldier Boxer’.

Haruna Mohammed has a record of five bouts winning four and losing one, while Jacob Dickson has 13 bouts with one lose. With his experience he believes he can stop Haruna, but many pundits of the sport feel the ring will decide.

For the Baubali and Soldier Boxer bout which is a rematch following the cancelation of the first fight when the gloves of Baubali was cut, many are of the view that Soldier Boxer will get the nod. The say way, fight fans think the ring will judge the winner.

Baubali has intensified his training with Coach Wadada, and they have promised to dish out a good bout.

Coach Lartekwei Lartey of the Fit Square Gym says Baubali will be dropped early, and urged their fans to come to the Arena early.

“Baubali is not a boxer, he is a clown, we are going to stop him, he was very lucky the other time, and I was so angry which made me lose my temper and my towel dropped, but this time we are coming with full vim and full force to win” he told Yours Truly on Omashi TV.

Baubali also expressed that Elivis Ahorgah has nnot fought beyond six rounds and he is going to punish him before knocking him

Other exciting pairings have been lined up with crack pugilists like Michael Abban and Joseph Akai Nettey who recently lost in Tanzania on the bill.

According to Ayitey Powers, a former boxer who campaigned in UK and Australia, the rates for the night are moderate for fight fans and advised them to comport themselves at the venue.

He noted that security would be tight and no body should get himseld into any trouble.

“Boxing is the game we all love so people should just come and enjoy and go home safely, not to come and create trouble” he stressed.
