Mr. Collins Zoiku, President of Ghana Mixed Martial Arts Federation and a member of the para sports fraternity in Ghana has sent congratulatory messages to the newly elected executive board of the National Paralympic Committee of Ghana.
He commended the affiliated bodies and the Electoral Commission for conducting a free, fair and transparent election at the Accra Digital Centre last Thursday.
He said the experience of re elected president Samson Deen will benefit the NPC, while the new members will bring on board their expertise in international sports management and administration.
Mr. Collins Zoiku, founder of Adaptive Boxing in Ghana who voted at the EGA said the nation has a great future for para sports and called for peace and unity among the ranks and file to ensure that they succeed.
In another development, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) have also wished the NPC success after the incident free election.
Deputy Minister, Hon. Opoku Bobie was at the Congress to represent the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Ms. Wendy Naa Deide Sampah of the Wendy Foundation has also wished the NPC all the best to take para sports in Ghana to a higher level.
