BOXUP, a UK based boxing equipment company has donated equipment to the Ghana Boxing Federation at an impressive event on Friday evening at the Bukom Boxing Arena (Ga Mashie Hall).
BOXUP in collaboration with the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) presented an exhibition bill to introduce and outdoor the new national team and future male and female amateur stars.
Dr. Stephen Addison, CEO of BOXUP said they have something special for Ghana if the boxers win medals at the World championship and Olympic Games.
Alhaji Dauda Fuseni, Vice President of the GBF expressed his joy for the donation by BOXUP and hoped that the relationship would be strengthened and BOXUP is going to attract the needed mileage.
He thanked the media who covered the boxing show and prayed that they will promote amateur boxing.
Mustapha Nettey, Treasurer of the GBF noted that the gesture from BOXUP will motivate the new faces in the national team. He commended Coaches Charles Quartey and Zico for unearthing and grooming the youth team.
President of the GBF, Mr. Bernard Quartey who received the items thanked Dr. Addison and advised the boxers to work hard to give Ghana more medals.
