Seth Gyimah popularly known in boxing circles as Freezy Macbones has become a hot cake in Ghana Boxing as promoters want to feature him on their bills, while other boxers in his weight class want to fight him.
After his unsuccessful campaign in the amateur ranks with the Black Bombers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, he has won all his four professional bouts and seeking for more challenges and opportunities.
Last Saturday he was on the Shiatse and Legacy Fight Promotions bill dubbed ‘Golden Hands’ where he finished his opponent, David Okine in round one.
Immediately after the bout, Jonathan Tetteh alias ‘Worldwide’who was his colleague in the Bombers team and now also a pro with three wins challenged him alongside Jonathan Mbanugu who has lost twice in 12 fights.
They were in the ring to challenge Freezy Macbones who did not shy away, but expressed his readiness.
He noted that his mother taught him that when he gets attention then he is doing something right.
Freezy asked the GBA to bring a contract and he is ever ready.
Meanwhile popular boxing promotion outfit, Box Office Promotions, is gearing up to deliver a night of intense boxing action at the Accra Sports Stadium in November, featuring some of the most anticipated duels in the nation.
Headlining the event will be a blockbuster bout between fan-favourite Seth Gyimah, better known as Freezy MacBones, and Chorkor favourite Ernest Akushey, alias Baubali.
The clash is expected to draw significant attention as both fighters are known for their fierce competitiveness and punching power.
The promotion will showcase a rematch between Derrick ‘Jesus’ Quaye and Michael “One Bullet” Ansah who last battled in a brutal super lightweight contest which Quaye won.
Shiatse and Legacy Fight Promotions have also agreed to stage Gyimah against Tetteh.
