The African Open 2024 PRO Fight Night comes up at the Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday September 7, 2024.
According to the organizer who is also Vice President of Ghana Kickboxing and Combat Sports Association and WKU Africa Mr. Steavano Tuekpe, the tournament will feature Boxing, Kick Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
The official launch will take place at Decathlon Kawukudi on Thursday.
On Saturday the gate fee is 20ghc and there are reserved seats for VVIP.
The event is under the auspices of the World Kickboxing Union (WKU).
Last year the maiden edition of the African Open was held at Tema involving five combat sports, namely, taekwondo, karate, judo, kickboxing and MMA.
Last year 2023, Joe Lamptey and Serlom Darko stole the show in MMA and Kickboxing respectively in the presence of Nii Adotey Dzata 1 aka Joe Mingle, former president of Ghana Kickboxing Association.
Who wins in 2024? The Accra Sports Stadium will be the action spot.
