Members of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) have commended and congratulated their executive led by Mr. Kwabena Yeboah for the visionary leadership and ensuring that they get a new office at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The office which is quite spacious than the previous on will be a hub for serious meetings with sponsors and other stake holders for the transformation of Ghana Sports.
In special interviews with some members they all praised the executives
Experienced Sammy Heywood Okine said it is what he wants and noted that it was good and that the Association is moving in the right direction.
He urged sports men and women to also work hard to excel like the sports Journalists.
Augustus Dodoo, a blogger and member expressed that the new office says much about the Association as very creative and dynamic.
Awurabena Adzi of HSTV and African Sports Media noted that SWAG has come a long way and the office really befits them
Francis Ofori of the GNA said the new office has given the Association much respect and raised the image so they will work harder to maintain and improve on the facility.
The new office was commissioned last Friday where the chief patron. two past presidents and an associate member who doubles as chairman of GHALCA were honoured with special gold medals.
