Ghana’s Theophilus Allotey aka ‘Lopez’ made light work on Mumuni Sawado of Ivory Coast whom he defeated in round two in his second professional bout in a 8 round International super flyweight contest in Aflao in the Volta Region last Sunday.
It was also his first international pro fight and dedicated the victory to all Ghanaians as they celebrate Founders Day on August 5.
Meanwhile administrator at Wisdom Boxing Gym Ms Sarah Lotus Asare and match maker has congratulated and encouraged him to do more and win a world title for Ghana.
Bastie Samir also made an appearance at Aflao and stopped George Akrong, Joshua Quartey, a former Black Bomber also won on the night.
Abubakar Saddik Promotions put up the package dubbed a night of battle of the motherland featuring boxers from Ghana, Togo, Senegal and Mali.
