It was a day filled with merry making as veteran highlife musician Samuel Owusu climbed the stage to treat Ghanaians to his undiluted classic old school music at the Max Tuo Zafi Festival held in Accra on Sunday, July 7.
He sends fans of Imax Media on the dancefloor when he sings his all-time hit songs like “Kokosakyi,” “Mo Bekae Me,” “Enni Awerehow,” and “Mpaboa Foforo.”
His performance climaxed the occasion after the Nkyinkyim band and talented kiddie star Foto Copy set the pace for him.
Known for their enchanted sounds, the Nkyinkyim band sang refined tunes by well-celebrated musicians in the country, while Foto Copy tackled the lighter side to bond with children who were gathered at the forecourt of the Tecno building in Darkuman.
He introduced kiddie dancers and displayed beautiful dance moves with his hot singles like “Tomorrow,” “School Dey Be,” and “Best Friend.”
His presence on stage was to motivate parents to unearth the true talents of their kids and also bring out the best in them, as his parents did with him, while also inspiring children to be like him.
The event saw its spectacular twist when Mandem also sang his feelings out with his songs to warm up the audience to him.
Takum sets the stage ablaze with his sounds, making him one of the fastest-rising talents in Ghana.
