Ghana is sending nine athletes to the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games. They will feature in the track and field events and swimming.
The athletes are Abdul R. Saminu (100m / 200m), Benjamin Azamati (100m / 4x100m), Joseph Paul Amoah (4x100m), Isaac Botsio (4x100m), Fuseini Ibrahim (4x100m), Edwin Gadayi (4x100m) and Rose Yeboah (High Jump),
The Swimmers are Joselle Alice Mensah (50m Freestyle) and Harry Stacy (100m Freestyle).
They will be accompanied by 11 officials including coaches, medics, federation heads and press attache to make up Team Ghana. The President of the GOC will also be at the Games.
They will train in Strasbourg for two weeks before moving to Paris, the Games Village on July 21.
The 2024 Paris Olympic Games is schedules for July 26 to August 11.
Ghana has won five medals at the Olympic Games since 1960, made up of one silver and three bronze in Boxing and another bronze in Football .
