Imax Media feeds over 1000 Ghanaians at Max Tuo Zafi Festival

Over thousands of Ghanaians were fed by Imax Media, operators of Max TV and Max FM, during the second edition of the ‘Max Tuo Zafi Festival’ on Sunday, July 7 in Darkuman, Accra.

The occasion was also used to screen audiences and viewers within the catchment area and its environs to check their blood sugar level and their weight and also diagnose them if any ailments were found to significantly improve treatment outcomes, prevent disease progression, and potentially cause life-threatening complications.

It saw great performances from the iconic Nkyinkyim band, legendary highlife musician Samuel Owusu, talented young star Foto Copy, and fast-rising musicians Takum and Mandem.

Many of those who thronged the forecourt of the Tecno building also won prizes like phones and earpieces from MaxBuy and other related sponsors of the Tuo Zafi Festival.

Some of the audience members who spoke with max.com.gh expressed happiness that Imax Media organized such an incredible programme to feed residents in Darkuman, Dansoman, Odokor, Kaneshie, Bubuashie, and its environs.

They said the feeding festival was laudable and urged Imax to continue feeding the fans, listeners, and viewers of their radio and television stations.

“I am happy with Max TZ Festival because things are difficult for us and when I heard this I came with my kids and my bowl to get some of the food to feed my family,” Mary Acquah said.

Some beneficiaries of the screening also charged Imax Media to do it periodically for them to detect some of the hidden ailments to help them gain the needed medication as early as possible.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Mr. Ricky Anokye, the General Manager of Imax Media Group, the event was put together to commune with their audiences, fans, listeners, and viewers to seek means to improve their programmes to better suit them.

The event was sponsored by Dewdew Spices, Medimafo Herbal Clinic, Maa Lizzy Fresh Tilapia, Flora Tissues, Bill Micro Credit, Nero Drinks and Water, Kojo Shoes, Gig 4 Life, Jaguar 4 Bitters, and Indigo Fabrics/Textiles.
