Winner Of ‘Power Of The Fists’ Not Declared As Fans Walk Out In Disappointment
Boxing Fans left the Bukom Boxing Arena on Saturday June 29th night with huge disappointment after the main bout between Baubali also called Ernest Akushey and Elvis Ahorgah aka Soldier Boxer ended scandalously after the referee Roger Barnor detected the gloves of Baubali was cut, so he requested for replacement which the corner of Solder Boxer did not agree, but threw in the towel and caused near mayhem for nearly 20minutes which was controlled by the security on duty, but fans could not have the patience to wait after the referee got down from the ring.
The debut Ayitey Powers Promotions dubbed ‘Power of the Fists’ featured 31 years old Ernest Akushey (6-0-0) popularly known as ‘Baubali’ from Chorkor who trains at the Wadada Gym at James Town against ‘Soldier Boxer’ aka Elvis Ahorgah (11-2-0) who trains under Coach Lartekwei Lartey at the Fit Square Gym at Kokomlemle for the National Super Middleweight Title Belt.
In round six, 23 years old Elvis Ahorgah seemed to be leading with accurate punches, jabs and dodged well than Ernest Akushey who scaled at 166.6 lbs and really disappointed his supporters with an abysmal performance with the Ghana Super Middleweight Title at stake.
The bout was a sell out as fans have argued and betted on who will win. The media workouts and promotions have been excellent and the promoters had a good patronage including stars like Prof Azumah Nelson, Asamoah Gyan, Samuel Inkoom, Kakybos, Ayitey Powers.
However, the Boxing fans who stormed the Arena in numbers to support the bill put up by Game TV and Ayitey Powers Promotions were highly disappointed for the controversial end of the bout and walked away to end the show.
Meanwhile, boxing social media platforms have been bombarded with views, opinions, contentious, verdicts, decisions and personal results.
Reports reaching Yours Truly indicate the GBA is working to resolve the issue by providing the official result.

In a Super Flyweight Contest, Isaac Aryeetey lost to Michael Abban. A Bantamweight Contest saw Jerry Klutei Robertson also winning over Godwin Tetteh.
Wasiru Mohammed fighting as a Light weight also beat Michael Akramah Tetteh.
Eric Korley and Adam Abdeen Salmon also featured on the bill.
Agadowaakye and the Militant dance family also turn the whole Bukom Boxing Arena down earlier with their top notch dance performance.
