Ghana Cycling Federation Applauds Prudential Life Insurance For Fifth Edition of PRURIDE 2024
The Ghana Cycling Federation executives led by Riyahd Mohammed Vice President, Joseph K Addo Deputy Secretary General graced this year’s PRURIDE Launch at the Accra International Conference Centre .
Speaking at the launch, Mr Joseph Addo who spoke on behalf of Cycling Federation (GCF) stated that, they are proud to be associated with the event.
Ghana Cycling Federation applauded Prudential Life for its consistency in promoting Cycling in Ghana, adding that this has resulted in a rise in the popularity of the Sports .
Since 2019, Prudential has consistently committed resources boosting interest in Cycling in Ghana.
“We thank the organizers Carbon AV and the major ultimate proud sponsor Prudential Life Insurance Ghana for this annual cycling event with the objective of promoting health and wellness and also raise awareness of cycling as a sport. This tallies with our mission and vision to promote and develop cycling in all its forms including transportation, recreation, excessive and competitive sports.
“Cycling for us is important and part of the bigger picture in the global effort to achieve sustainable development.
“We hope all and sundry especially corporate Ghana will emulate this example to support cycling and other least financed sports in Ghana which are laboring without sufficient resources at their disposal” he said.
The National Cycling Federations of Togo, Benin and Nigeria will compete in this year’s competition, as an event such as this will eventually produce cyclists to participate LA2028 Olympic Games and the Tour De France which is the ultimate dream for all cycling Federations.
He assured Prudential Life Insurance that this year’s edition of PRURIDE will be big in terms of participation and security.
