Three members from the Paralympic Sierra Leone will depart in the early hours of Friday 7th June for the United Kingdom for GAPS training and competitions.
The celebrated polio Para Powerlifter Arold Sheka Kamara will be accompanied by his guide and coach Ibrahim Kamara. The one arm female Para Table Tennis player Rashidatu Mabinty Sesay will travel without a guide for now. A founding member of the paralympic movement in Sierra Leone, Mrs Pamela Williams and Team Leader, Unisa Deen Kargbo encouraged the team to remain attentive and to return home after the event and to compete hard to gain qualification to the Paris Paralympic Games.
The team will join other countries for 10 days training in Birmingham UK.
