Ghana’s Amputee National Team, the Black Challenge will clash with rivals Morocco in the final of the African Amputee Football Cup of Nations AAFCON 2024 in Egypt.
Ghana defeated Algeria 0-3 in the Semi Final stage to qualify for the World Amputee Football World Cup in 2026, while Morocco took out Nigeria.
The final wil be a repeat of the last edition which took place in Accra, Ghana at the first African Para Games.
Morocco will come all out to revenge while Ghana will love to repeat the history.
In fact it will be an interesting and fitting final match to watch.
Coach Stephen Obeng who has commended his players for reaching the final says he has a plan to beat the North Africans.
“We are ready for Morocco. We will teach them more lessons in the game” he told the media.
Chief Inspirer of the Black Challenge, Mr. Samson Deen, the President of the Ghana and Africa Paralympic Committees has also commended The Black Challenge and urged them to go for glory and make Ghana proud again. He advised them not to rush, but take it easy and win handsomely.
The Minister of Youth & Sports, Hon Mustapha Ussif has also congratulated them.
