The technical meeting of the 2nd World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event took place today in Bangkok, Thailand in the Alexander Hotel.
Altogether 579 boxers from 133 countries are participating in the 2nd World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event in Bangkok where the total number of the available quotas for the Paris 2024 Olympics is 51.
The number of the coaches, officials and team delegations members is 610 in Thailand.
The first competition day is May 24 and without any rest day, the 2nd World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event will last until June 2. The total number of bouts will be 542 in the event and two competition rings are used in the busy schedule.
The afternoon session will start at 13:00 in the Huamark Indoor Stadium every day while the evening session will begin at 18:30 local time between May 24 and June 2. The venue will open two hours before the start of each session.
Quotas In Each Weight Class In The Bangkok Qualifiers
A direct single-elimination bracket will determine the allocation of the quota places. Bouts will only be held to the point necessary for the allocation of quotas, meaning no medal matches or awards ceremonies will be held as part of the 2nd World Qualification Tournament.

66kg – 4 quotas
