2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup Semi final clash at Baba Yara Sports Stadium
Dreams FC who are representing Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup representatives have announced a free gate policy for their game against Zamalek on Sunday 4pm in the reverse fixture of the semifinal.
This is a bid fill the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with fans for the crucial game that they need to win at all cost and progress to the final of the competition on their first attempt.
Dreams FC released a statement on Tuesday afternoon announcing the policy to open free gate to fans for the game.
The first leg in Cairo last Sunday ended in a goalless draw, but Coach Karim Zito says he will change the game plan to ensure a sound victory.
“The management of Dreams Football Club has accepted a recommendation to make access to majority portions of the stadium for its return leg CAF Confederation Cup semi-final clash against Zamalek free of charge.
“Consequently, the popular and centre line stands of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the game on Sunday, April 28, 2024, will be free.
“Tickets for the VIP and VVIP stands shall however be sold for ghc 20 and ghc 50 respectively to satisfy security and safety requirements.
“We therefore urge all football enthusiasts in Ghana to gather in large numbers at the Baba Yara sports stadium to support the team as they strive to achieve a historic qualification for the grand finale of the continental competition.
The management of Dreams will soon announce several other measures to ensure the successful hosting of the game.
