Myhealthcop App Unveiled In Accra

Myhealthcop, a new digital app for information on wellness and preventive healthcare has been launched at an impressive ceremony at the Stanbic Heights in Accra.

It is powered by MYHEALTHCOP Ltd to foster and create awareness on preventive healthcare in a digital format via a mobile phone, tablet or laptop.

The unveiling was done by former football super stars Marcel Desailly, Anthony Baffoe, Mr. Irchad Razaaly, the European Union Ambasador Irchad Razaaly and Mr. Kwasi Tabury, CEO of MYHEATLTHCOP.

According to Mr. Tabury, the vision of MYHEALTHCOP Ltd is to ensure that every individual reaches an optimum level of wellness.

“We are working towards the realisation of this vision through the creation of an ecosystem which is based on the interaction of interconnected components to see to the fulfilment of this vision” he expressed.

“This ecosystem seeks to educate preventive and healthcare professionals and equip them with requisite skills and certification to best enable them to operate in the industry as well as create entrepreneurial employment opportunities through the use of MYHEALTHCOP Ltd’s digital platforms” he said.

“As a part of this ecosystem, we at MYHEALTHCOP Ltd understand the necessity of giving back to society in a bid to ensure our vision touches the underprivileged in society” he added.

“It is the time to take a pause to reflect on our well being. We believe that “One day can change your whole life” said Mr. Tabury.

He said they have streamlined a host of activities to celebrate preventive healthcare with nature as the focal point.

He called on the media to play a positive role in the campaign of Preventive Healthcare which is Medicine.

Three panelists, Dr. Austin Luguterah and Prof. Richmond Aryeetey both of the University of Ghana and Madam Adjele Akwei, a massage therapist of RIMA Thera Touch spoke on the functions of the human body to move, stress management, regular exercising and good nutrition as well as prevention of sugar, salt and fat in the body.

They tackled mental health and dos and don’ts at the gym where everyone has a purpose of visiting.

Mr. Baah Sekere-Agyekum, product owner /corporate business lead said the platform is more than just a collection of features; “it is a manifestation of our dedication to providing accessible, personalized, and comprehensive wellness solutions for all. From fitness tracking and nutrition guidance to meditation resources and community support, our platform is designed to support you on your wellness journey, wherever you may be”.

The ceremony also addressed the celebration of the 3rd Edition of Global Wellness Day event themed #MagentaNature.  Global Wellness Day is a not-for-profit day, a social project dedicated to living well. It is a yearly event celebrated on the second Saturday of June.

The day is celebrated with numerous wellness activities to remind, inspire and create awareness to live healthier and take care of oneself.

This year’s theme is dubbed #MagentaNature. The aim is to remind people to #eat natural, #be in nature both physically and spiritually and above all #protect nature.
