Tomorrow Tuesday 5 March, 2024 will witness some young classic boxers from Ghana display their skills and talent before their own fans.
They include world title chasing Daniel Selassie Gorsh (10-0, 8 KOs) who meets Moses Adjei Selvi (8-1-1, 8 KOs) for the vacant Ghana National as well as UBO Africa Super Bantamweight belts in the headline bout of the ‘Independence Eve Rumble’ presented by Box Office Sports Promotions and partners at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.
Also on the bill is Michael Decardi Nelson against undefeated Nigerian Sodiq Adeleke in an international contest.
There would be other supporting bouts, such as Derek Quaye versus Tagoe, Hillman against Mchondi for the UBO Inter Continental Bantamweight title and a female boxing action.
Coach Carl Lokko who spoke to Yours Truly today in an exclusive interview said Bronx Gym boxers have the power punch and are crafty and ubiquitous in the ring. He expressed that Daniel Gosh aka ‘The Emperor’ has advanced in the game and will give stylist Moses Selvi a very good fight.
“We must expect a really good fight and certainly my boy, Gosh will win” he stressed.
