West Ham United midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been adjudged the Sports Personality of the Year 2023 at the 48th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Center.
The amazing attacking midfielder has been in astonishing form for the last two years, earning a move to the Premier League from Ajax Amsterdam in Holland.
Kudus was Ghana’s best player at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, scoring two goals and providing an assist in three matches.
He helped the Black Stars qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, where he is expected to lead the country to success.
Aside the Sports Personality of the Year award, Kudus was also voted Footballer of the Year (Foreign).
The rising super star is winning the award for the second time running.
