Ms. Rosemary Mroba Gaisie, a Director of the Women In Sports Association (WISA) has congratulated all the 32 winners at the 9th Awards ceremony which took place on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
She said the distinguished personalities which include disabled athletes needs to be encouraged.
Ms. Gaisie receives an award from the WISA President on behalf of Rosalind Amoh of Graphic Communications
According to Ms. Gaisie, the Awards ceremony which came just some few days after the first Para Games hosted in Ghana was another remarkable feat.
She prayed that all the athletes representing Ghana will shine in their upcoming competitions.
She said WISA Awards will be ten years next year and the celebration is going to be special and bigger.
She appealed to corporate Ghana to support the athletes who want to bring glory and honor to the motherland and thanked Ghandour Cosmetics for their support.
Ms. Gaisie was a former Sports Journalist with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation who were also honoured on the day.
She is a member of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) and AIPS.
