The Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) has selected a strong team of athletes with current good form to represent the nation at the up coming World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
The team comprise of James Dadzie – 200m, Raymond French – 4x100m, Edwin Gadayi – 4x100m, Isaac Botsio – 4x100m, Deborah Acquah – Long Jump, Joseph Paul Amoah – 200m and 4x100m,
Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah – High Jump (No Visa) and Ansah Sarfo – 4x100m (No Visa) could not make it.
Record holder Benjamin Azamati – 100m and 4x100m (Injury) could also not make it.
Currently, the team is camping in France.
