Kurrency Boxing Management signee , Daniel Quaye earned an impressive victory; perhaps the best on his resume so far.
The young boxer pummeled Ben Ankrah aka “Congo Soldier” into bewilderment until the gutsy veteran refused to answer the bell for the fourth round of their Lightweight contest.
Fighting for the second time on the Ghana Professional Boxing League platform, Quaye who trains out of the Bronx Boxing Gym under Coach Lawrence Carl Lokko amazed the teeming crowd at the Bukom Boxing Arena with stupendous skills blistering hand speed and footwork.
Also known as”High Tension”, Daniel Quaye, now rises to three wins in four with one draw.
In an emotion-laden post fight interview, he was very appreciative of the efforts put in by his current manager Bright Aboagye owner of Goldmart, a precious minerals trading firm and promised to give off his best.
The Bukom indigene also re echoed his yearning for a world title berth.
He thanked Trainer Carl Lokko and all the coaches and fellow stablemates who helped in sparring and expressed gratitude to his fans as well.
