Ghana international Thomas Partey was deployed as a right-back in Arsenal’s away defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Partey’s poor form has seen him lose his place in midfield to Jorginho in recent weeks. The Black Stars midfielder made substitute appearance in the club’s last three games in the Premier League.
Returning to starting lineup at the weekend, the former Atletico Madrid star was deployed as a right-back as his outfit suffered a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Despite playing out of position, the Ghana international was outstanding for the Gunners and earned an impressive rating from, football performance APP, Fotmob. He was rated 7.8 in the encounter.
The defeat suffered by Arsenal effectively dashed their hopes of clinching the title, with Manchester City claiming their third consecutive championship.
The 29-year-old has three goals from 33 English Premier League games this season.
