KURRENCY BOXING MANAGEMENT SEALS DEALS WITH BRONX GYM TRIO

Businessman Bright Aboagye’s newly constituted boxing management outfit: Kurrency Boxing Promotions has undertaken the signing of three boxers deemed to be Championship Level boxers. The elaborate and grandiose ceremony which took place at the Bronx Boxing Gym in Accra saw boxers: Daniel Quaye aka “High Tension” ( Lightweight), Issifu Sulley (Super Featherweight) and Stephen Coffie ( Lightweight) all of who train at the Bronx Boxing Gym, being signed to a three-year renewable contract.

Head Coach of the gym, Lawrence Carl Lokko reverberated with contentment as he urged his proteges to take maximum advantage of the opportunity to catalyze their respective careers.

Kurrency Boxing Management is a nouveau audacious outfit marshalled by businessman and boxing enthusiast Bright Aboagye, owner of Goldmart: a precious minerals firm.

Mr. Aboagye recounted how his benevolent ties with boxers Manyo Plange and Fredrick Lawson increased his interest in the sport and has inured to him setting up a management outfit: Kurrency Boxing Management. The illustrious investor also revealed how he personally came to watch sparring sessions at the Bronx Boxing Gym before picking out the trio.

He opined that his ultimate aim was to facilitate and promulgate the rise of world champions and in essence reduce crime and social vices among the youth by providing a platform where they can be gainfully employed, earn a livelihood and realize their dreams.

The event was graced by traditional ruler Nuumo Kla and parliamentary aspirant Alfred Nii Ashie Kotey who took turns to applaud the management outfit, advise the boxers and also recognize the efforts of Coach Lokko.

During the event the Bronx Boxing Gym showcased its National, International, Inter- Regional and Continental Champions: Daniel Gorsh, Jacob Dickson, Felix Ajom, John Abaja Laryea and newly crowned Jacob Tetteh Laryea.

The newly signed boxers thanked their new manager for reposing confidence in them and pledged commensurate output.
