RECORD ALERT!!!! James Dadzie ran the most impressive sprint double in Ghana’s history on April 29, 2023, in Lubbock Texas (USA). James clocked an incredibly fast but windy 9.89 seconds (w +3.2) in the 100m; the fastest time run by a Ghanaian athlete under any conditions. James returned to the track a couple of hours later to run an insanely fast 19.79 seconds (w +1.3) to demolish Ghana’s 200m record. James shaved off a stunning 0.29 seconds of Joseph Amoah’s national record of 20.08 seconds set in 2019.
