Mr. Gordon Frimpong, Director of Operations of the Ghana Jiu Jitsu Federation is upbeat about the team’s alacrity to haul medals at Kazakhstan Championships and other international invitational tournaments.
Popularly known as “Osebo” by his compatriots, Mr. Frimpong, who is also an executive member of the Ghana Boxing Supporters’ Union predicted at least ten medals to be won in an interaction with newly appointed Head Coach of the team, Daniel Earll from America.
The Ghana Jiu Jitsu Federation recently organized a training programme for referees and judges in an effort to boost the sport in Ghana and prepare the grounds for accelerated impact.
The Kazakhstan tournament is scheduled for June 15 in Astana, Kazakhstan.
