EXCLUSIVE: CYCLING FEDERATION APPROVES NATIONAL ANTHEM VERSION FOR GLASGOW GAMES ORGANIZERS
The Ghana cycling Federation yesterday approved the Ghana flag and official National Anthem of Ghana to be used at this year’s Glasgow World Cycling Championship from the 3-13 August 2023.
The approval followed an Email sent to the Federation on which particular version of the country’s Anthem and Flag to be used.
Speaking to the Chef du Mission, Shaaban Mohammed, he was highly pleased with the process from the organizers and ” this proves this year’s Games will be very interesting” he said.
Ghana, thus, becomes the 74th country to get its Anthem certified for the Games.
With barely three months to go, Team Ghana us already in shape to represent the Nation at this year’s maiden edition of World Cycling Championships ” mini Olympics”. In 13 disciplines within cycling sports,
Ghana will feature in the Road race, Time Trials, Tandem, Freestyle, Track and Grandfondo.
