This year’s Aboakyer Cycling Race will be officially launched at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, the 12th of April, 2023, at 9 am.
In a Press Release signed by Shaaban Mohammed, Secretary General, he said the Ghana Cycling Federation is partnering the Efutu Traditional Council on the important event to stage a one day race as a precessor this year’s Deer Hunt (Aboakyer) Festival on Saturday, the 29th of April, 2023.
The Omanhene and paramout stool occupant, Neenyi Ghartey VII will be the special guest of honour.
The Cycling Federation seeks to use this event as a platform towards the 2023 Glasgow World Cycling Championships in August this year and the International Tour of Ghana later in September this year.
