Ghanaian featherweight Holy Dorgbetor aka ‘The Jaw Breaker’ ended things with veteran George Krampah in 3 rounds at Ace Power Promotions’ fight night dubbed ‘The Rise’ at the Bukom Square in Accra.
During the preparations for the fight, holy Dorgbetor promised his fans that he would settle for nothing less than a knockout and subsequently proved his point by dominating the fight right from the word go till he totally annihilated Krampah who was visibly beaten.
“I am coming for you [Krampah]… Get ready because I am coming to knock you out… Holy the Jaw Breaker is coming for you”.
Speaking after the fight, coach Gershon Adzai said through his translator Frederick Ankomah that Holy had performed even better than he expected.
“We were expecting a knockout but we didn’t expect the fight to conclude as early as it did. I had Holy winning by round 6 but he dominated the fight and showed Krampah that he is the Jaw Breaker. He promised to knock him out and he did just that.”
The heavily packed fight night also featured many interesting fights. In an unexpected turn of events, Super Bantam Samuel Martei Laryea suffered a loss by unanimous decision against Kouassi Klaklevi.
Experienced Super Welterweight Daniel Aduku secured a victory over Kofi Manu with a TKO. Additionally, Abraham Afful triumphed over Henry Mensah with a third-round knockout in their Super Welterweight match.
The Super featherweight bout between Emmanuel Otoo and Emmanuel Quartey ended in a majority draw, while Ahmed Abdulai claimed a fifth-round technical knockout (TKO) over Emmanuel Allotey in their light heavyweight contest.
Emmanuel Baidoo Sarpey swiftly defeated Moses Lartey in just one round of their Super Welterweight clash. Likewise, Charles Lesko Sosiya, competing in the Super lightweight division, emerged victorious in the second round against Samuel Lartey.
The Super featherweight contest between Eric Asante and Isaac Odartey Lamptey resulted in a majority draw, while welterweight Emmanuel Ardey Arvee secured a second-round knockout win over Samuel Turkson.
In a Cruiserweight matchup, Felix Mankattah faced a TKO defeat in the fifth round against the experienced Dodzi Kemeh. Additionally, Godwin Kofi Appiah suffered a loss in the first round of his lightweight contest against Gideon Nortey.
