Ghana’s Macaire Derrick is improving very fast as one of the best ring officials in Kickboxing and other martial arts events.
He was recently in Lome, the capital of Togo to officiate in the WAKO pro K1 Kickboxing event.
He said he loves Kickboxing and want the sport to develop and promoted to the highest level in Africa.
“I love be in the center as referee for the title fights. I love to fly the Ghanaian flag high. I’m proud to be a Ghanaian” he said.
The countries that took part over the weekend include Ghana, Togo, Benin, Senegal, Ivory coast, Nigeria and Gabon.
