NDC SPORTS CAUCUS HONOURS PLEDGE TO NATIONAL CYCLING YOUTH TEAM
The National Cycling Youth Team who won medals at the just ended 19th CAC Africa Road championships and the 1st CAC Paracycling Championships held at Ablekuma Ollebu last February have received their pledged amount of Gh8000 from the Sports Caucus of the National Democratic congress.
The delegation from the Cycling Federation was warmly received by the former Greater Accra Regional Minister and former Fire Bunch Cycling club head, Prof. Joshua Alabi in his plush residence at East Legon.
The affable politician cum sportsperson was extremely delighted by the exploits of the riders and admonished them to be of good behavior and attach seriousness to their schooling as well.
The National Youth Cycling Team both male and female won eight bronze medals at the just ended 19th CAC Africa Road championships and the 1st CAC Africa Paracycling Championships at Ablekuma in February, making them the most decorated and promising Team in the Sport.
Prof. Joshua Alabi praised the coaches for their wonderful work for the Youth Team team and praised the federation for a successful organisation.

Ghana has again been offered and given a scholarship for the team to train at the world cycling centre in South Africa and Africa rising center in Rwanda
