CRACK ELECTIONS TO HIT GHANA BODYBUILDING &FITNESS ASSOCIATION ON 24TH FEBRUARY,2023

The media centre of the Accra Sports Stadium has been the Waterloo for many Federation elections and a “polling station” that has pulled up many surprises amongst many sporting Federations.

In less than two weeks to come the Foundation of the Ghana Bodybuilding &Fitness Association is set to tremble in a “Turkish fashion” as the Presidency is set to embrace a novel contest between two candidates of high reputes.

In a sighted communique by the Ag. General Secretary,Christiana Ashley on the 23rd January,2023, the various positions to be contested for are; President, Vice President, Treasurer, Head of Women’s committee, and Head of Technical Committee.

The Presidency position will be the centre of attraction as the incumbent,Abdul Hayye Yartey is set to face a brawling challenge from “crowd favourite” Charles Owusu Ansah.

George Foster Baffoe might scale through unopposed as the sheet shows no opposition on the day.

Madam Rosemary Yahyra Fiadonu is set to become the new Treasurer as she also goes unopposed.

Mrs Bambi Sam will also have a field day as she goes unopposed for the Head of Women’s committee position.

Samuel Adjei will be the Head of the Technical Committee even if one person votes for him, a scenario which is practically impropable.

Checks reveals that the incumbent has been in the helm of affairs for the past 14-15 years as President and he is likely to face one of the stiffest electoral “battles” in the history of the Association on the 24th of February,2023.

The Ghana Bodybuilding & Fitness Association is one of the disciplines under the National Sports Authority and has been in the limelight of bodybuilding especially for the Youth.

The venue of attraction is certainly at the media centre of the Accra Sports Stadium and the Ultimate Sports will be getting you up to speed all the actions before, during and after the Elections.
