GHANA SQUAD OUT: ABLEKUMA OLEBU WILL BE ON FIRE
The final squad for Team Ghana is finally out and all is set for the Africa Road Championships and Paracycling Championships 2023.
Wheelers who made secured the pride and patriotism to wear the National colours includes; Anthony Boakye Dankwa Boafo of River Park BA, Lawrence Adjei,Francis Owusu, Prince Akwasi, Ebenezer Frank Quaye, Emmanuel Sesi, Prince Kudufia and Peter Osei.Coaches includes Joseph Kudakpor and John Zormelo.
The Junior Male Team includes, Joseph Nii Quaye,Madjeed Abdul, Fredrick Barnes. Coaches are Christian Adiabo and Ebenezer Annor.
The Youth Male Team includes Abdul Sadat Abdul Nasar, Mohammed Farrakhan, Pious Mensah,Alfred Quaye. Coach Christian Adiabo maintains them.
The female Under 23& Elite category contains experienced Commonwealth campaigner Erica Sedzro leading the pack, Mary Jane Pappoe, Rebecca Agana, Paulina Yaa Mensah, Haruna Nimatu,and Abigail Tettey with Simon Cobbina and Francis Sai Obodai as trainers.
The Youth Female Team has Rebecca Dakleti, Priscilla Tsatsutse, Jessica Nartey, Deborah Adu with Florence Heridor as Head Coach.
It is a beautiful pride for Ghana as the crop of fantastic coaches namely, Joseph Kudakpor, John Zormelo,Simon Cobbina and Christian Adiabo, are making history in their Cycling lives.
The main action will commence in Ablekuma tomorrow with African Championships Eritrea, Morrocco, Algeria and Rwanda ready to roll.
