Female Cycling advocate and activist, Denyse Tesire is very optimistic female Cycling in Ghana will receive the needed recognition and drive in the coming years.
In an interview with the “Ultimate Sports”, the shy looking wheeler mentioned that ” female empowerment and capacity building is paramount in life. And one of the positive modus of imparting such into the “street lady” is to encourage her to ride”- she said.
Denyse believes riding alone cannot be the panacea for solving all these inherent problems women are facing in Cycling.
” It is equally key to organize symposiums, seminars etc to educate the ladies on the dos and donts in life”. She further stressed.
The Divas Cycling initiative Director has self sponsored a lot of females in Cycling and has been an extrinsic motivation to many, even beyond the boarders of Ghana.
Denyse Tesire was recently appointed unto the Women’s commission Board of the Ghana Cycling Federation during the Elective Congress last year due to her selfless indisputable dedication, commitment and passion to develop female Cycling in Ghana.
